Grounds/Landscaping

The Groundskeepers are responsible for performing work related to the campus and athletic grounds. The Groundskeepers are responsible for the on-going care and enhancement of Williams College landscapes, hardscapes and athletic sport systems including the following: roads, parking lots, lawns, grass playing fields, artificial turf field, outdoor track, tennis courts, indoor ice rink, field house, cemetary, parking areas, fences, exterior signs and posts installation, meadows, patios and plazas, bollards, exterior stairs, and snow removal. They are also responsible for maintenance of off campus sites, equipment and material set-ups for events, and the campus moves of miscellaneous equipment, furniture, and materials. Secondary responsibilities include on-going care and enhancement of the college plant landscape including trees, shrubs, flowers, vines and pest/disease control.
